I'm glad the Indians are winning and I hope they come out of the AL. I wish both the Angels and Red Sox could lose...God, how I hate both of those teams.

Re: ALDS Game 1: Indians v. Yankees

    Final:

    Yankees 3
    Indians 12

    WP: C.C. Sabathia (1-0)
    LP: C. Wang (0-1)

    Player of the game:

    Kenny Lofton, LF

    3-4, 1 R, 4 RBI, 1 SB...The 4 RBI is a career postseason high for Lofton, playing in his 11th postseason.

Wow, what an offensive performance by the Indians. Four home runs? I just hope they have enough runs left over to win tomorrow night. Two years ago they won a ton of games in blowouts where they obliterated teams offensivly and keeping them from scoring much. However, they lost most of the games decided by one run. I hope this isn't one of those cases for the Indians.

Re: ALDS Game 1: Indians v. Yankees

I think the Yankees pitching will be better tomorrow. I am a HUGE Andy Pettite fan and I think he'll be able to do much better than Wang did.

Wang has never had a postseason start before this as far as I know, and I think once the Indians got a bit hot our rocking crowd got to him.

Pettite has a ton of experience in the postseason. Hell, I remember standing outside in the rain watching Game 7 of the 2003 World Series at a haunted house. Andy pitched a great game and unfortunatly the Yankees lost.

I think tomorrow's game may be low scoring with Pettite and Carmona on the mound.
