For you old school guys...Bergolla is hitting .320+ and has only struckout 3 times in 47 atbats. Also has blazing speed and is only 22 years old. A good defense player with a strong enough arm to play SS.

His only problem is lack of walks. he improved his walk total last year. Hopefully he improves it again. he could end up beig a Luis Castillo type of player if he walks a little more.

Great games by Dumatrait and Bergolla. Good to see Nelson thriving in the closer's role as well. Bergolla could be a future 2B. He is doing well.

    Dragons tales

News from the medical front also wasn't so good for the Dragons. First baseman/designated hitter Bobby Mosby (hitting .308) was told he has a probable tear in a left knee ligament that might require surgery.

It's the type of surgery that can't be done by arthroscopy, either, meaning he could miss much of the rest of the season. Mosby has an appointment with Dr. Tim Kremchek, Reds' team physician, Wednesday.

Also Monday, Dr. Kremchek removed two, not just one, bone chips from outfielder B.J. Szymanski's right knee. Szymanski was supposed to miss 2-4 weeks. It's now 4-6 weeks.

Sweet lets see him continue his sucess. He has been our number one guy so far in the minor leagues. Maybe outside of Stratton, but we cannot worry about him anymore (DL).
