The reds made their first signing of the offseason, bringing back 1997 5th round selection dewayne wise on a minor league deal with an invite to big league ST.

Wise, a corner OF, will be 28 when ST comes around. in parts of 3 seasons in the majors he's put up a .615 OPS, and has been irradic in 9 minor league seasons with OPSs ranging from .461-1.145 at all levels. looks like he grabs a base here and there. he went 1/5 with a double for the braves in the 2004 playoffs.

I can't say i'm too excited about this guy, who will probably find himself a 4th OF at louisville.

Its a guy that will look good on my MVP baseball 2005 Playstation game. Thats about it. But it has started!
