    Proposed temporary lineup

We need to shake things up and I think we should try this for tomorrow, although Miley won't do anything like this:

    Freel 2B
    Lopez SS
    Randa 3B
    Kearns RF
    LaRue C
    Griffey CF
    Dunn LF
    Casey 1B
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

With the way he is hitting, absolutely. I don't really care what anyone says about me wanting him there right now.

I agree with your lineup CRF, but I would switch Dunn and Kearns. While I agree with your statement about the way Dunn is batting, Kearns is doing just as bad IMO. Long term I could agree with you, but I would like to see Dunn batting cleanup.

thats not shaking things up that blowing things up like they blew up Cinergy Field :p .

I dont think we are that desperate yet.

If you want to adjust somethings let me just propose what I would do.

    1) Freel 2b Lets face it Jimenez is not suited as lead off hitter
    2) Griffey CF I want to see this expirement just a bit longer before I rule it a failure.
    3) Randa 3b Our best hitter so far this year.
    4) Dunn LF Our best power source, just needs to get a bit more aggressive IMO.
    5) Casey 1b Hitting it hard just not getting it to fall this will take some pressure off and still give him oppertunities, if/when Dunn heats up.
    6) Kearns/Pena RF Ok put me among the worried when it comes to Kearns, he just looks like he forgot how to hit MLB pitching.
    7) Lopez SS Please ditch the idea of Aurillia starting, Lopez could be a very servicable SS, wont ever be mistaken as Barry Larkin or Dave Concepcion but he can be good.
    8) Larue C If it aint broke dont fix it. Hes hit well here this year lets leave him.

Dunn has a .185 average along with 2 BB and is not hitting well at all.

Kearns has a .227 average with 3 BB and had our only RBI tonight, after having two hits in his final AB's of the game on Sunday vs. the Astros.

So far I've disagreed with everyone who has posted their proposals on this thread.

That looks to me more like the lineup when everyone is hititng well... not right now.

Dunn looks absolutely PATHETIC right now... as does Casey. Randa is hitting too well to be behind players who aren't hitting overly well and LaRue/Lopez are playing too well to be that low IMO.

Well I can agree with your statement somewhat CRF. I agree that Lopez and LaRue should be higher. But maybe putting Casey AND Dunn in front of Randa may spark things. Just a thought. Its really hard to argue either way IMO.

That could spark things as in they will be seeing better pitches... but they are both hitting so poorly right now that I'm not so sure.

I don't care what order you put them in, here is what needs to be done, Rich Aurillia out FeLo in.... DJ out, Freel in and leading off.. and most importantly Wily Mo Pena in and Austin Kearns out... WMP has had two starts both times he hit HR's.. pinch hitting is something he has never been able to do, nor does it look like he will be doing it anytime soon... HE NEEDS TO START.. i would rather have Kearns PH off the bench, i feel he would benifit from being benched, because since he has come up it has been his job to lose, well if you ask me he doesn't have any preasure to do well.. he knows he is the guy becaues the organization has spent how long on him, plus being Right Handed he knows he is going to get to bat up in the order, even when he doesn't deserve it..

START WILY MO, he can't do any worse than striking out 4 times in one game.
