Claussen has a two game hitting streak. He's a machine, I tell you.

whoa, i guess the pirates are worried about their young lefty because he's done for the day after 4 innings of 1 run (though sloppy) ball.

in comes a righty Medows with Claussen leading off.

Duke is on the hook for his first Major League loss.

75 pitches for him and he hasn't pitched in a game in a few weeks. It makes sense to be careful about it, though I don't know that I'd want to rely on five innings from my bullpen in a doubleheader.

why don't the reds ever make their pitchers take batting practice. they are dead last in the NL in batting average at .109 and only Milton's two bombs have gotten them into second to last in OPS.

nice job by dunn to get the rbi, marty is really giving it to dunn about hitting with risp. I agree that dunn needs to be more productive, but there's no doubt in my mind that dunn would have better numbers if the lineups on this team had been made better since day 1.
