MVP: Junior. Hudson was good again today, but a better hitting team would've made use of their opportunities.

You know, I'd be very surprised if Griffey didn't win player of the month this month (and player of the week this week). He's hitting about .370 with 10 homers this month, with an OPS over 1.100. I can't think of anyone else playing like he is this month.

Griffey will likely win Player of the Week. MVP is him today, although Hudson pitched pretty well.

If Luke can harness his control a BIT more, he can be very good. I was encouraged by his season-high 7 K's.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
