Reds vs. Pirates, 8/26 Thread: Here comes a shutout.

Bottom of the 1st right now. Reds got Felipe and Aurilia on to lead off the inning, but then Junior and Wily Mo struck out, Felipe and Aurilia got to 2nd and 3rd on a double steal, and then Casey bounced back to the pitcher. Redman's probably gonna kill us, just like all the other lefties with no velocity do (Lowry, Doug Davis).

And there's Jason Bay with a double. Dunn tried to shovel to Griffey, Junior didn't expect it, and Bay got to third. Man on 3rd, two outs, Wily Mo Eldred up.

Beautiful. Now Dunn's sitting at 3rd with two outs and Harang coming up.

    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Harang just got his second hit of the season to score Dunn. Just a blooper over the SS...

Back to back doubles by the Pirates to start off the 2nd. So much for a shutout going either way..

And Harang gets out of it only giving up one. Wigginton screwed up on 3rd base and got caught in a rundown for the 3rd out. 1-1 after 2 innings.

Junior! There's number 31, and he continues his incredible hot streak on a 3-0 count.

Just to note, it's been raining for a while and it looks like it's getting harder. 2-1 Reds.

Looks like Dunn's tired of slumping. He just hit number 35 of the year into the river with Casey on 1st. 4-1.

Ugh. Bases loaded, one out. Harang just can't seem to pitch consistently on the road. He's already got 60 pitches.

And he gets out of it with two strikeouts. He's not gonna get past 5 innings, though.

Another GIDP for Casey. Beautiful. Of course, Wily Mo just stopped in the middle of the basepath without even trying to break it up.

Wow. Harang managed to get through two innings in less than 20 pitches. He's at 86 after five.
