It was over 2.00 today. There's your difference. He was bound to get hit with the number he was serving up today.

What was up with that Griffey Jr. throw into the ground earlier in the game? Horribly embarrassing.

RBI double for LaRue. Another good AB, and LaRue finally comes through with someone on base.

I don't know, but he has two singles and a HR today, so I'm not complaining.

Might as well have left Belisle in there with 2 outs with the way Cruz has hit lately. Jerry just has to use up that pen though.

Ugh. Mercker gave up a two-run homer, Weathers gave up a bloop single, and now the tying run is up with one out in the ninth.

And did I mention that Jose Guillen is up next?

Phew, EdE just made an awesome diving catch to get a force at second. Guillen's up with Johnson at 1st in a 5-3 game. Uh-oh...

Haha! He struck out Guillen looking. MVP of this game is Junior. 3-5, almost 4-5, with a homer and two runs. Claussen would've had it if Narron wasn't a whore.

With the homer today, Griffey has now hit a homer in 40 different ball parks. 3 behind Fred McGriffs' all time major league record. The only 2 current stadiums that have baseball played in them that Griffey hasn't hit a homer in is Atlantas' Turner Field and Detroits' Comerica Park

We go to Atlanta next week and we'll probably play the Tigers next year. With the new Busch opening next year, he'll have a decent chance at tying the record. Any other new stadiums being built?
