    he's pitching very well so far.. 3 innings of 1 hit baseball. 2 K's and 1 walk.This guy is a big part of the Randa trade and so far he is pitching better than he has in the past this year in AA. just lettin everyone know

    Six innings of one-run baseball for him. Four hits, but he did walk five and only strike out two. The Lookouts won in extra innings, but he didn't get the win thanks to a blown save by David Shafer. Good first outing.

    That's OK. Like every other power pitcher he needs to learn control. This is where Reds coaches need to do their job. They need to teach him repeatable mechanics and learn to control that awesome stuff he apparently possesses.

    Just about all of the power pitchers I can think of started off wild: Koufax, Ryan, Big Unit. This kid needs good coaching and good health.

    Spot on Ray. We have to pay closee attention to his walks this season and ensure that it is being corrected. Hopefully the coaches do their jobs.
