Nice to see Richie Rich returning to Dodger Stadium in a non-NL West uniform.

and with the crack of the bat, reds rookie third baseman EdE grounds out to thirdbase, as Robles throws over to Saenz for the last out of the 8th inning?

Standbridge gives up a long single to phillips as junior plays it off the wall perfectly to prevent phillips of a double

Slightly better. Maybe you could comment on the quality of EdE's at-bats tonight, or just join me in making fun of Rich Aurilia.

So how about that poor defense by aurillia? he keeps going into the outfield while kearns has it.

Standbridge seems to have control problems, i don't know really why he's on the 25-man...Hopefully weber will be up soon as he's completly tearing it up in the minors on a rehab assignment.

the 3-2 pitch and the first two have reached, first and second with none out.

I can't believe you just said that you hope Weber will be up soon.

Milton bradly on deck, looks like Lowes night is done.

two on none out, repko takes a high fastball.

I tell ya, aurillia has no communication as theres a swing and a miss by repko.

Repko shows bunt at the last second but it goes foul

Jason is 1-2 with a HBP as he checks his swing and it goes 2-2

Dodgers wanting to add to a 4-0 lead here as its a full count.

EdE steps on the bag at third and throws to first double play!

It was kind of sad to see Weber after remembering the nifty stuff he once had. And with that quirky motion, you were expecting so much more when he pitched with us, but just got nothing. It's like a Ferrari which revs up it's engine but is barely able to get down a neighborhood street... just sad.

Monopoly pinch-hitting for Lowe. Hopefully the Dodgers secretly traded for Danny Graves.

Weber has like a 8 inning scoreless streak going, which is nice. and seeing how no one wants to call up booker we can take any help we can get.

INT Walk to the PH milton bradley and the crowd does not like that.

Narron out to the mound, standrige out.

    And Gameday says...

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Derek Lowe left the game due to an injured hand/wrist.
I don't normally celebrate injuries to opposing players, but I can make an exception here. Owndizzled.

With how Weber was earlier this year, I can't possibly celebrate him coming back up. Love Shack is in and got the groundout on his first pitch.

Lefty brian shakleford in, 1-0 1.00 ERA in to pitch.

    He will face Robles here.

If you're wondering why Derek Lowe was pulled, he had a blister on his thumb.

Robles is 0-3, and grounds to first as the inning is over.

If Weber gets called up before Booker... Chris needs to go up to Cincy and just quit. Either that or beat up OB, he looks like a big guy from his picture.
