I have neglected this again. But lets keep it going!

I am going with Valentine. He just has not been the guy we wanted to be with the Reds in the bullpen this year. i don't think he has a chance to make the team next either.

Wilson. He's not going to be that effective coming back from arm surgery, methinks.

Mercker 37 yrs old. We need to get something for him now so we dont risk his old arm falling apart then we are stuck with another Graves or (insert yank middle reliever here).

Slyder, you are really pushing for Mercker. I just hope you don't make me put a foot in my mouth next season if he does stick around. because I want him to be here next year. But, you do have a point as well.

I like Mercker but this team is not build to win anything in the immediate future, except maybe HR Derbys, so why should we hold onto a guy who will be retiring before the Reds are built to win again. His trade value will never be higher than it is right at this moment, if we wait to long we might regret it a lot. If your left handed and can throw strikes you can command a lot of attention and goods in return and as teams get more desperate they might pull a Victor Zambrano for Scott Kazmir blunder.

I'm trying to keep in mind the theme of this game: "for next year." So my vote goes to Randa, certainly not because i don't lik the guy, or don't think he can produce, but because i'm pretty sure he'll be dealt.

For better or worse i think that we've gotten down to the part of the list where it is conceiveable that any one of the players we still have could be on the team... except for randa. I'm tempted to go with redsr on this one, because i don't have much hope for valentine at this point either. But i think he's got a stronger chance than randa.

You're definitly right there. He's been better this year.

    Weathers is gone!

Looks like we will have to trade him then.
