I will say it again, Luke Hudson with his 95 MPH fastball is CRAP!

Hudson has great stuff. When you nibble like he does though, you won't succeed. I'm willing to give him a bit more time because of his talent.

This is still like the end of ST for him. If he continues to struggle, then he needs to go to the bullpen, but we don't have many options to replace him right now.

Oh, and I wish I'd see Ruhle working with these pitchers on pitching to THEIR skill set. For Hudson that means being aggressive. For Milton that means keeping his breaking ball down, etc. I haven't seen much improvement since Ruhle's taken over on that front.

Many of the Reds pitchers just aren't "smart" pitchers. For a few of them, it's because they're young. Harang is a smart young pitcher. And even though Claussen has been better lately, he's not what I'd call a "smart" pitcher. He just doesn't seem to "know how" to pitch yet. Harang is our only starter who really looks like he does at this point.

That's exactly what I mean. They, more than many other teams, don't seem to know their own strengths and weaknesses very well.

I hear you. i think it is like you said, a lot of young arms. Hopefully Milton has it figured out though. And I think Wilson is a smart pitcher, but was just hurt. Which makes him stupid in that sense, but you know what I mean.

    Nice double by Felo!
