Votto singled last time despite taking a few ugly swings tonight, including a couple of pitches in the dirt during this AB. He then flies out to the warning track in left-center. 6-4 Reds after 4.

I like Ondrusek quite a bit, I didn't know how he would do last season but he handled himself very nicely.

Figueroa remains in the game, somewhat surprsingly and then of course singles up the middle.

Yeah, same here. Don't like seeing him give up a hit to the pitcher but he is going right after them, unlike the guy who started this game.

Hernandez flies out to the warning track in right-center. Balls are not flying tonight but probably will later in the year. 1 out.

Yeah, Volquez didn't have the greatest of starts, but I think given his stuff and experience level, it will take him a bit longer to get back up to speed, especially with his control.

Anyway, really nice game for Janish so far. I think he has the potential to be a much better bat than some give him credit for.
