Reds Good start to the season for Leake

Mike Leake opens the season versus Houston with 6 strong innings of 3 hit, 2 run baseball. Yes, it is the Astros, but with 94 pitches (59 strikes) and a quality start with some pressure on him, I am really happy. Remember, when the Reds were healthy when camp opened, there were talks about Leake being the odd one out and left in AAA to further develop so a strong start here shows that same kind of poise we all witnessed last season when he made his debut. Hopefully the kid keeps it up.

Reds are 4-0 right now, their best start since 1990.

Leak really impressed me last year. I see a lot of good things coming from him, and soon.

Wait till Leake's bat gets going. Game changer, kids.
