Reminds me of the old Cesar Geronimo highlights, he used to do a very pronounced snap to the hip with his glove after catching a fly ball if I remember correctly.

Maybe that is where he picked it up. It scares me though.
Will they just go ahead and give Volquez the ROY?
I don't think he is eligible?
You are right! So can I change my question?
When will they say he is starting the All Star game?:)
What a shock: Reds prospect stinks, Cards prospect shines.
Reds lose, Cards win.
Reds offense poor, Cards offense great.
Reds defense, fundamentals and clutch characteristics poor, Cards nearly flawless.
And even with Sir Albert injured, they will still bring all of that to the table. Bruce looked several steps behind the Sir Albert threshold he needs to reach.
Will someone tell me again how bad the Cards' minor league system is at producing talent?
Thanks a lot Bowden, O'Brien and Krivsky.
I wouldn't base the careers of either of the starters on tonights game. Especially with the Reds track record against first time starters. Will be interesting to see how the Cards without Pujols.
Not the careers, but I just think it's funny how much the Cards' minor league system gets lambasted, and then they bring up someone who at least has the potential to stick in their rotation.
Im sure nobody will agree with me, and that ill get flamed but I don't think Homer Baily is ready for the MLB and i don't think hes ever going to be a great pitcher. I think he will be at the end of the rotation, and I don't think hes the great pitcher everyone thinks he is. Thats just my .02
Last night was the first time I had ever see him pitch actually. He looked ok, but not ready for the MLB. His body still needs to fill out, it looks like he weighs about 100 pounds out there. Velocity isn't what I had read about either. I have to agree with Banter and say I just don't think he is ready. I'm not ready to write him off yet though, as he looks to still be filling out, and he is only 22!
The Cards' offense was electric tonight even without Sir Albert. What brilliant GM work by Jocketty before he left town.
And Cueto was miserable again. Will he turn into a joke because this organization or is he just young still?
Looper was nearly flawless on the other hand. Another extremely shrewd move by Jocketty before he left town.
Looper is not good, you're going a wee bit far there bud.
Ryan Franklin is a shrewd move.
Well, Looper puts up league average numbers and seems especially good in the clutch, so I think it was a good move to fill out a rotation.
Looper isnt a bad pitcher at all, I wouldnt mind him in a Reds uniform as a 4th or 5th :)
Incredible, Ed E homers with two outs and in the bottom of the ninth to send us to extras.
