    I know we didn't get Lee, but...

    What would your reaction have been if this would have been announced yesterday:

    The Cincinnati Reds acquired RHP Cliff Lee from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for 1B/OF Yonder Alonzo, 3B/OF Juan Francisco, C Devin Mesoraco, and LHP Matt Maloney.

    I say that package would have done the job and might have been better than the package they got from Texas.

    Honestly, too much IMO. That might have been what was needed to get it done, but for a rental, I would honestly rather hope that Edison comes back strong late in the season to be that pitcher we need than really hurt our depth like that.
