    BTW, it was announced before the game that Prince Fielder has been named as Wilford Brimley's replacement as spokesman for diabetes testing supplies...

    Johnny Cueto, how I have missed you! It seems like Cueto is back, another solid game against a lineup that isn't exactly easy. And the most telling thing about his performance is his 7 strikeouts with only 1 walk, a ratio I thoroughly enjoy. Gomes with another big blast too, thank god we were able to resign him or this season might look a little different right now.

    Two things I wasn't expecting at this point in the season, the Nats NOT to be last in NL East and the Reds to be in first in the NL Central. Glad to see Gomer doing so well, love that boy!
