At least it isn't a typical Sunday throwaway kind of a lineup.

I am still waiting for the pitching to come around. Is Brian Price simply a bad fit? Something strange is going on here. It sure would be nice to hold an offense from scoring 3 runs in the first few innings. Let's go now!

A-Gon is dialed in. Big two-run shot here, that makes it four games in a row that he has hit a home run.

Reds with the late comeback win. No one could possibly have seen this coming.

So that is why Milwaukee let Mike Adams go.

Great stat from STATS_MLB: The Reds won today for the 8th time on the season. Seven of their eight wins have come in their final at-bat.

Pretty decent victory today. Yet again a last AB win as D-Kas pointed out. For me, Bailey had the second best start of any start this season. Leake's debut likely being the best. Bailey had it going, but still got hurt with his split a few times. Still, he couldn't get past the 6th inning which caused the bullpen to work yet again. On this day, the bullpen did its job. Cordero has been scary this year though. The dude continues to pound the ball extremely low and hitters are laying off of it easily. Perhaps it was the heavy rain in the final inning. But that isn't the first time he had problems getting the pitch up in the zone. I believe there is an issue that needs to be resolved with it. Hopefully the kinks get worked out soon.

The sticks looked good today as well. I really have to say that Rolen may need to replace BP still though. The guy is a good AB everytime. I think if Phillips is moved to sixth and Rolen and Bruce moved up one spot in the order, things would look much better. It would provide a bit more protection for Bruce, and Rolen could continue to lead this team to victory.
I am extremely impressed with the catcher spot right now as well. Hernandez and Hanigan are really battling eachother for playing time and they have come up pretty big for us. I'd say the shortstop position has been a pleasantry as well.

Put this one in the books though fellas. But there is still a lot of work to be done.

    MVP: Bruce
    Bum: Cordero

seeing 2 through 9 in the 1-8 spots would be kinda funny.

And I'd be willing to bet it's never happened considering that'd be the catcher leading off.
