Maybe Leake can keep it to 5 walks or less in this game.

    Pirates
    Iwamura 2B
    McCutchen CF
    Milledge LF
    Jones RF
    Doumit C
    Clement 1B
    Laroche 3B
    Duke P
    Cedeno SS

C'mon Reds. If you guys lose to a team that has its pitcher hit in the 8th spot and has Andy freakin' Laroche as its starting third baseman, then all hope is lost.

With Miguel Cairo batting 5th and Paul Janish as our classic power 3B... who knows though.

I had a chance to go to the game tonight. But rain is in the forecast, and has been doing so most of the day and I have seen the pirates play the reds multiple times. I turned down the opportunity.

At this point, the pirates are not worth seeing in my opinion unless there is an attraction on the other side of the field. Last season, it was the cardinals for me.

Reds hitters drew 5 walks in the 8th inning. No hits, but did score 2 runs out of it. Heh.

Reds tie the game in the top of the 9th inning off Dotel who takes the blown save. Zach Duke gets screweeeeeeeeeeeeed.

They knew Zito wasn't in the crowd so they decided to give Pittsburgh something to be excited about tonight. >_>

Duke is a pretty average pitcher. Doesn't rack up a lot of strikeouts, but he can still be very effective at times. When he came up in 2005 or so he had a sub-2.00 ERA for about half a season.. And in other news... the Pirates are .500!!!! 76 more wins to go.
