    Freel busted for DUI

Freel was busted in Bellevue(Kentucky) this morning for DUI. The team is expected to make a statement at around 3 PM, but I have to say that I'm very disappointed in Ryan.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

I know. I still like him as a player, but I've lost some respect for him overall.

This is disappointing. Especially this early in the season. Hopefully he can get his head into the game soon.

This is going to have an effect on him I bet. Hopefully he can get things worked out though. Maybe he can talk to Furcal somehow and see how he got through it all. Or else he really has a great support group in the clubhouse. Right now, Freel has a lot of no-good feeling I bet. Not playing a lot mixed with this DUI. Not good at all for his morale I'm sure. I am dissapointed as well.

I have a question about this: Do the Reds and/or MLB have a policy on this? Be it a fine or suspension. Or is it up to the individual clubs to decide a punishment, if necessary? Just figured someone would know.

I am not positive, but I think that they leave it up to the club. They get their punishment from the law in that city, then go back to their clubhouse and see what they do locally. I think it would be double jeopardy if they had MLB do anything about it. Then again, it is pure speculation. i am not positive, but it just sounds right.

This is enough to change my mind about him deserving the starting spot. As a Cincinnati Red he needs to keep his image clean. DJ and him were fighting last year, now a DUI? Maybe Ryan plays life the way he plays the game: wreckless. :

    Stupid, stupid, stupid.

After seeing what Bubba Nelson went through, why would you even think of driving while your loaded.

I think you posted in the wrong thread.

IMO, there is no way Wally and tremere are the same person. tremere was an idiot. Wally seemed like a smart guy.

Oh, I saw "elsewhere" that apparently there was some other issue involving Ryan in the past... but the information was erased before I could see what it was.
