Bruce Breaks Wrist

Its being reported that Jay Bruce fractured his wrist trying to make a catch today. Bruce will be out at least 4-6 weeks.

Bruce is probably pretty much done for this season.

Walt was later on tv and said that Stubbs would be the one to replace Bruce on the 25 man.

Stubbs and Dickerson should be 2 of the 3 starting in the OF (one in CF EVERYDAY). Bruce being hurt means Duhhsty will continue running Willy Patter... I mean Tavares out there in CF while 2 guys who are better in every aspect (except SB dept) are either on the corners or on the bench.

Supposedly both Stubbs and Heisey will stay in AAA, who knows if that will be the same story after the ASG. Rosales was called up for now.

Bruce has not been right this season and the holes in his swing has shown. I think losing Votto's protection in the lineup really put pressure on him to deliver more and his statline suffered. I am really concerned with how this will effect his development though.

I'm ok with this really, he needed some time off and as long as he heals 100% I think he will come back much stronger than what we have seen. It is pretty shocking that not even Stubbs will get a call up, I guess it is Rosales for now... Really? he wont be anything more than a fringe back up player vs two guys that could be potential plus players in our future. At least it isn't McDonald I guess.

Well the good news I guess is Bruce has no ligament damage tendon damage. Hope he recovers better than TBSL Bruce.
