Those runs shoulda been unearned. Daubach should have turned the DP to end the inning.

They probably never will change. He is a Grave(s) Situation, as he has been for several years as I've noted since that time.

I have a question on Danny Graves. See if any of you guys can answer it. I know that the reason the Reds couldn't deal Danny's contract prior to his release was because of the $500,000 buyout on 2006. Did the Reds save that buyout money by releasing him now? Or put another way, Let's say a guy is signed through this year with an option for next year. As is the case with most options, if it is not picked up the team has to pony up a buyout. If you cut the player this year does this absolve you of the buyout money for next year?

I saw that late Thursday night on FSN NY Replay. I agree with General on what he said about Daubach screwing up, but Graves should have found a way to get the next batter out even if Daubach screwed up.
