My boy came through again. This is why I have been one of the main Wily Mo supporters for quite some time before his success. I just love his attitude. A lot of people in the past would rag on Wily Mo if he did bad in Winter Ball or whatever and to me, while naturally a cit concerned I was never worried. I really think Wily Mo is just a guy who loves the chance he gets to start on a big league team. That's why he works so hard on improving his game and why he isn't affraid of the clutch moments. We all know he has faults, including myself, but we are damn lucky to have a kid like this in our lineup.

    MVP- Wily Modesto Pena

It's a good thing some have finally discovered that clutch hitting does indeed exist.(*cough, James, cough*)

Anyway, I have to admit WMP has done much more than I expected at this point. It's a similar situation to how Randa has done a lot more than many expected.

WMP has exceeded my expectations as well and I was expecting a big year as it was. So we shouldnt be surprised if Wily Mo struggles a bit from time to time. It's just pretty nifty to have a 23 year old (as old as some of the prospects drafted in the first round) to be crushing like that. Other than a Jr. homer for his swing, none other I like better than a Wily Mo blast. When he hits it and you have your eyes close, you can just hear if it will be a homer sometimes.

Totally true. He just hits it so hard, it's insane, and he seems to come through in the clutch, just as players I've always thought have, such as Casey, Todd Walker, Randa, etc.
