    Roster Yet another SS injured

Hairston fractured his thumb today after getting a leadoff basehit and stealing 2nd and 3rd base.

3 SS injured. Now who gets the call? I'm sure Janish will be getting the majority of playing time, but this really hurts us IMO. Hairston has been incredible for us in Kepp's absence.

    Vailaika anyone?

Yeah, it's probably for the better anyway. I have a solid glove and a decent arm, but I couldn't hit my way out of a wet paper bag.

I think I would be a good acquistion for the Reds at shortstop. Think of all the promaotions and money they would rack in. The first ever girl in the major leagues. And I am only 5 foot tall and in a crouch I could have a pretty good on base percentage with all the walks. Can you imagine the promotion Bon Bon bobblehead night for certain it would be sold out.

    The Curse of Larkin.

Those who come into play often either play above expectations, only to get our hopes up so they can later be dashed when injury strikes, or play below an already low established career standard, giving 'abandon all hope' new meaning... and lately injury bug has came way too often.

    I'm a utility guy, I'll play anywhere. You need a 3B? I'm there.

That wouldn't be just crying though . That would be crying, cursing, yelling and everything else imaginable.

So who is going to leadoff with Janish starting at SS? I hate to say it but Baker probably has it in his mind to start Patterson a lot until Keppinger gets back. Even then, who leads off?
