I am not saying that Griffey can hit a HR on any day he chooses. But it has become inherently obvious that they have been holding off for him to hit it at home. I am sure his knee is hurting him and all, but they will not sit him out extensively until he hits it.

June 15th against the BoSox. Griffey is known for his superior performances on Father's Day and I suspect he would think that day would be as perfect as any. Now don't get me wrong; if there is a need for him to hit a HR in a game prior to the 15th, he may get it. But I think the effort will be extra prudent on Father's Day.
