Reds called up P Gary Majewski. Do you suppose this means we are going without a 5th starter for the near future, or Affeldt goes into that position, or we are waiting to call up Mr Bailey when we need to use the 5th starter spot again later this week?

I have no clue. But this rotation is already pretty tired I would guess. Almost all of them pitched on little rest this week. The bullpen is real tired as well. Perhaps Majewski comes in to spell some bullpen arms for a few games and then they call someone else up?

Manager Dusty Baker was coy about it, but it is finally Homer Bailey time. Bailey was scheduled to pitch for the Class AAA Louisville Bats today and did, but only ppitched two innings and was pulled.
