As a way to increase the fans' community involvement, the Reds will offer buy one get one free tickets to any fan who donates food to the Reds food drive. The food they request is anything non-perishable. And the tickets (while probably upper deck seats) are to a pretty good game in mid June against the LA Dodgers. It's nice to see a team not only get so involved in the community, but to offer something of value to participants. Normally you see these offers involve tickets to a Nationals or Padres game, but to see a decent offer for a very important issue, is refreshing.

No offense to Leo or anything, but the Padres are not exactly a team that people would wanna see right now (at least not as much as the Dodgers, D-Backs, Cubs, etc)

Exactly. They don't even have Peavy or CY to attract fans...

The only reason CY attracts fans is he's good for 2-3 homerun balls per.
