Safe to say Weathers doesn't seem to have it anymore? Definitely seeming that way.

And the west coast trip begins in poor fashion as always, with some of our worst starters coming up. Long losing streak possibly on the horizon now?

Lost another game to the Cubs/Cards. Starting to fall way back.

Jocketty still has plenty of work to do to fix the areas Krivsky didn't even begin to address as GM, such as clutch hitting from certain players and missing links in the bullpen. And don't forget defense.

Don't worry, Jocketty should turn it around fairly quickly. And then we can win games 8-2 like the Cards did tonight. Great offense and pitching from them. Inconsistent offense and pitching and poor defense from us.

I wouldn't say a losing streak is now imminent, really. Tonights game will be tough, but Belisle is due to not be so terrible soon. Despite the outcome of tonights game, we have got a chance for another streak in my opinion. Especially with the way the Padres have been playing this year.

Looks like a two-game losing streak after tonight. If Cueto has another off-outing, it will be three after tomorrow and a sweep. And another game behind the quality teams in the division.

Krivsky refused to address our inconsistent and non-clutch offense and didn't improve the pitching enough. And especially the defense.
