Not that I am making excuses for him, but I don't get why everyone chalks this off as a guy who enjoys too many things. He has his hobbies, so what. I think he just flat out sucks right now and it is no way attributed to his night life. That, of course, is just my opinion.

I just don't get it. Maybe hitters have finally figured it out? He caught too much of the plate tonight much as Belisle did a few nights ago. Jocketty said he had to be his mechanics. Hopefully they figure this out soon.

Yeah, mechanics, which equals lack of ANY command of the breaking ball (as I said after seeing him in person), which equals poor results, since that's his "pitch" he can use in any situation to either get ahead of a batter or get an out. Still some strikeouts, but lots of hits. As I said, unless something's physically wrong, I expect him to start pitching better pretty soon.

When Jocketty was in the booth bad mechanics were what he seemed to think was going on. Didn't sound to concerned with it.

I really hope so guys. And CRF, you have been pretty spot on with your scouting reports a lot of the times so lets hope it turns out the way you see it.

Here are Arroyo's thoughts on his latest performance:

“I’m just getting beat, man, that’s all there is to it,” said Arroyo. “There’s nothing else to say.”

I'm not completely convinced its just mechanics. But hey, what do I know. If Jocketty thinks its mechanics, who am I to argue. I just think that his gigs are affecting him.

I guess we will see whether its mechanics or the space between his ears tonight.

Well I just hope he and Pole have figured it out after reviewing his mechanics on video all week. We'll see. It would be huge to get a boost from Arroyo.

meh, quality start in terms of stats only. this is how deceptive Arroyo is.. he gets a quality Start.. but really that 6th inning could have went either way.. he got out of it because he was facing a guy he had owned all night.. it could have just as easy been a 4 or 5 run game with one swing of the bat.. right now he is #4 Pitcher on this team.. if we can just get 1 more SP in there to make Arroyo the #5 guy.. I would be happy.. I am not convinced Belisle will ever be anything other than Long Relief..
