DBacks hitters are laying off Harang slider bigtime. Its pretty much eliminated now. He walks Snyder now too.

Harang is pitching pretty good, but the DBacks hitters just have a perfect approach today.

Harang gets Reynolds on a slider that hit the dirt. So Reynolds didn't stick to the Snake gameplan lucky for us with 2 runners on.

We must get those runs back.

Is it just me, or does anyone else get a sudden chill down their spine when they see Mr. OBP Corey Patterson leading off? I know it was reported before and expected by many, but to see it on the actual opening day lineup is tough to accept. I personally actually liked the signing of Patterson and I could see him possibly finding success with the bat in GAB, making use of his talent at a level we have not seen before, but seeing him leading off is a tough pill to swallow.

Did anyone else see where Tim Kurkjian predicted Corey Patterson as a 30-30 player this year. I have to admit, I was trying to figure out (for awhile) if he was actually kidding. I also heard on XM that Dusty said that this is a "new" Corey Patterson and it is like he "gets it" this time around. I sure hope Corey learns how to take a few pitches an AB.....but I'm not sure that is what Dusty wants as I have seen where he wants Dunn and Votto to be more aggressive at the plate. I guess time will tell on everything.

I never heard that and strongly disagree with him. But I can only hope they see something beyond his history. It would be nice.
