Berkman hits a HR. 2-1 Astros. Come on Ortiz!

This Ortiz guy is a real character, I'll tell ya. Has great stuff, but I think he strikes himself out with mental curveballs way more than he does his opponents.

I can tell he is frustrated for sure right now. But he is expecting a lot out of himself as he should be. afterall, we are facing Oswalt. But you are right, it may have got the best of him against Berkman.

Man I wish Kearns would pick it up at the plate.

If the 'stros had any offense, they would be giving the Cardinals a run for their money.

Ortiz looked foolish on that Oswalt curveball. He bailed out and it broke right over the heart of the plate. Oswalt is insane.

Yep, the Stros are simply lacking in that department. Our pitchers have actually looked good this series.

Great barehand play by Freel. 2 up 2 down. One more Ortiz!

I really like how competitive Ortiz is. He reminds me of Acevedo when he strikes someone out. He does that awesome stride off the mound along with the glare at the batter. Smooth inning for Ortiz there.

Also, having Ortiz being a better pitcher than Acevedo is a huge plus.

Freel gets caught on a groundball from Felo back to the pitcher. 1 out Felo on 2B.

Poor job of hitting to get Freel in the position of being run down, IMO. Great effort by Freel to try and get out of that situation. Smart running by Lopez to at least keep a runner in scoring position.

Casey has lost a TON of power, is his contract up at season end?
