I think the "not enough power for a 1B" argument doesn't fit, especially for a team like the Reds who have tons of power. Casey's job is to get on base and set the table, which he has done well throughout his career.

He has had his share of HR anyway.(111 throughout his career)

    Just a reminder...

If it stays a tie, Wagner will be voted off because he has more prior votes.

Wagner, you want consistency from your relievers.

Good ponts CRF! Casey is hitting now and has picked it up. The argument about him not being such a great clubhouse leader could be a legitimate one. But, I bet he still gets people pumped. It just seems to be a little less because as a whole this team looks to have given up. This is where Casey needs to step in and pump these guys up. Hopefully with these recent wins, they can get some chrage from Casey.

My biggest gripe on Casey is the GIDP's. But I suppose that is partly Miley's fault for refusing to take him out of the three spot when slumping.

Anyway, my vote goes to Wagner.

Yep Casey does need to leave that third spot. Put Griffey there and moves Casey to 5th with Dunn 4th.

That's my biggest problem with him too mission; not the lack of HR.

Anyway, I have a hunch he'll pick up the pace when it comes to those before the end of the year.

My lineup right now would be:
    Freel 2B
    Lopez SS
    Dunn LF
    Griffey CF
    Casey 1B
    Kearns RF
    Randa 3B
    LaRue C

I would have Randa up a slot, but I don't want him and Casey back-to-back because the type of hitters they are.(contact)

Wagner is gone 7 to 5 vs. Casey. Casey holds on.
