I am giving my vote of MVP to FeLo. Hitting a homer off a guy like Perez is tough and for a kid who once couldnt handle the pressure, he did pretty ok in that 3 spot.

The power potential has always been there, but I am surprised how quickly it's emerging. Supposedly he had a personal trainer this offseason and really got into great shape. I bet that made it even more dissappointing when the club picked Aurilia over him. Oh well, he is making them look like fools (not too hard but still.)

I saw Ortiz taking notes during today's game. So he should be mentally prepared.

Reds' current Pythagorean Record says they should have a winning percentage of around .388. Their actual winning percentage is .382, so they have pretty much played where expected based on their runs scored vs. runs allowed.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

well the Reds just won 3 games in a row, so it looks like its time to lose at least 3 straight
