Bergolla gets my vote. True he hasnt done anything bad, but he really hasnt done anything at all (due to his short playing time.)

I go with Bergolla too. There is just no place for him right now, and other than his single against Billy Wagner the other day(which was impressive to see in person ), he hasn't done anything.

I have to say Bergolla as well. He is just not needed on the roster. Although, I would probably prefer him over Jiminez at this point.

i am going to continue to vote for Dave Weathers until he is gone, becuase, well like slyder said, I can, and reguardless of what he has done lately, he is still a waste of space and will only start screwing up again

david weathers may have turned it around somewhat, he's only had one bad outing this month really. But that doesn't make him a good player or a good signing, we are still going to have to figure something out when hudson and hancock come back, if they ever do. But i can't justify voting for a guy who has contributed something over a guy who really hasn't contributed much of anything.

So i have to vote for Jason Larue. I don't know how he convinced people that he was a good catcher, but from every angle i see, he ain't. I guess he has a good arm, but so does my roommate.

It's only going to get harder from this point on....

So my vote for today will be for Larue.... and his bad bat.

As awful as Jason has been lately, his OBP is still .307 right now, which isn't quite as bad as it would be for someone other than a catcher. His career numbers are not awful for a catcher and I think he'll finish the year on a strong note. That's just IMO of course.

but have you seen how they've backed Larue off the plate now? Maybe he'll start to hit a little, but he's not going to get hit nearly as often, so his OBP is going to drop. It's not like he takes a lot of walks.

Well, he does have 10 BB so far, so he hasn't been awful, especially since he hasn't played all of the time.

having the pitcher coming up behind him means he should get more walks because they know they don't have to pitch to a real hitter, especially with 2 outs. Just the other day valentin got intentionally passed twice inthe same game to get to the pitcher.
