    I'm hoping for a repeat from the last time the Reds played in oaktown when we won 13 - 2, 10 - 6, and 17 - 8 in 2004.

Hey easy there P-A! I don't need reminded of that debacle.

When and how the Reds add to their five World Championships, nine pennants and nine division titles seems less important than the franchises' lineage, which traces a line back to the dawn of the professional game and their role as keeper of the historic flame they lit by birthing the Red Stockings in 1869.

Honestly, I loved it. But go into it with an open mind. It isn't the end-all way to go about things. But Beane seems like a brilliant mind. Very good theories that have proven to work.

yea, some people took it (and still do take it) too literally...the basic idea is finding what is undervalued at the time and exploiting that weakness in the market. At the time it was OBP and college players that played all 4 years for the draft. It's been defense, injury risk players like Frank Thomas and Milton Bradley, etc...I got the book and read it that summer after it was out...haven't read it since though.

Full count changeup that lost all sense of gravity and Lohse gets him swinging! 2 outs

    Nice pitch

I'll take it...all the more sweeter since he played for the Red Sox last year...I despise the Red Sox.

Gonzo boots yet another one. Are you kidding me! Routine play ends up giving them a run. UGH!

This signing definitely did not work out how it was imagined. 12th error of the year for Gonzo.
