Griff doesn't do the job, but boy does Marcus McBeth get it going. Great punchout to end the top of the 9th there, now let's get some runs!

EdE Ks now. Gagne's changeup is sick once again. Drops off the face of the earth. 2 outs

    Come on Hamilton

1-2-3 9th for Gagne and that's the ballgame folks. It sure wouldn't of been bad to see him wearing Red this year like many wanted.

Yeah it looks like Gagne is back for sure. That changeup was nasty. He really got in edE's head as he was up there guessing on that last pitch he saw. You can see he was shacking his head in disgust, and Gagne just killed him.

Sammy and the Rangers tough pen beat us on another night where we could of win with just a bit more. It's so sad to think about all these games that have gone wrong for us when you consider where we might be if more of them had gone right.

It is very hard for me to think about all that because you are right. We could be talking in a whole different direction if we didn't lose so many close games for countless mistkes that end up costing this team.

Tonight, I can't blame Narron. I can't blame Belisle on the Sammy slam. It was an outside fastball that Sammy just took deep. I can't blame the offense either as they did their job against a horrible SP in Padilla. The Rangers pen is amazing this year and have not given up the lead after the 6th inning all season. Well, they have but just once. We couldn't do anything against this bullpen though which was the defining factor in this loss. Our pen came in and were equally as solid.

Good signs: the young arms seem to be coming into themselves and may have some things to show us to keep themselves in future plans. Hatteberg, EdE, and Dunn are really seeing the ball well right now.

My how the tables have turned. Its our SP that is getting us hurt now and late offense. Matter of fact, I think our late offense has been horrible all year. I think we have one walk off basehit this season.

I do agree on those points, but again, our bats failed to capitalize on opportunities and it came back to bite us again.

Late in the game, we seem to be getting the damage to us instead of doing it. Heartbreak Kids of a few seasons ago we are not.

Oh, and if you're wondering, the law won.
