Hammy grounds out to a nice play by Kotchman. Inning over.

2 RISp with 2 outs and EdE makes a diving stab to save the runs from scoring! Great defense EdE1 Saved the game right there.

We are still in this, lets get some runs!

Reds go down 1-2-3 nice catch by Aybar to save a basehit.

Still 4-3 Angels. I would hate to have to try and score runs against Shields and KRod.

Cooter's in all kinds of trouble in the 8th. Based jacked, no outs.

Popout to third. One down. Double play ends the threat.

Garrett Anderson singles up the middle. 5-3 Halos. Cooter is done.

Dunn k's...although he actually had a great at-bat. 5-3 Angels. KRod in the 9th. This one's over, folks.

Angels push one across in the top of the inning. 6-3, 2 outs, Vlad up. Game is officially over.

I honestly hate watching this team. I never thought I could care so little about the score of a Reds' game.

Honestly though, if they won this won... my excitement would be close to peaking, and that's sad. I listened to most of this as I was driving a lot tonight and it was sickening to hear us fall apart like that. I really didn't want Bailey to be in the situation that he'll be in tomorrow which is trying to be the series decider, but it's come to this. And of course we lost the little bit of ground we gained to fall back to 9.5 back.

I skimmed through the game just a few minutes ago that I recorded, and man would that Ed E foul shot been a huge homer had it been 10 feet the other way.

The good thing? Lohse pitched solid, despite falling apart later on and if he keeps it up, with his impending FA, hopefully we can flip him at the deadline for a nifty prospect if we continue to be stagnant in this division.

Was at the game and told those I was with about 10 different things that was going to happen before it did. Called Hatteberg's HR. Said Narron would get burned by bringing in Coffey. Said Gonzalez would strikeout on three pitches in the 9th.

I called Hatteberg's HR because I knew his first two AB of the game had led to fly outs.

    I said basically this:

"He flew out in his first two AB. Usually when he is not getting his good swings, he grounds out. I think he could do something big here since he seems to be getting the ball in the air against Lackey tonight."

    Sure enough...boom.
