Bailey is just glowing talking about the callup. I know to us this is our team, our future... but to him, this is his career and possibly his legacy and it's great to see such excitement. It's kind of like the excitement you see with someone getting their first "real" job out of college.

Bailey is wearing #34, like he honored the Rocket in the minors, he is now taking on Nolan Ryan's number. What state are these guys all from? I forgot.

I think New Hampshire or Wyoming.

Day showed the Think Fast segment filmed down in Sarasota, and Bailey is one goofy kid (very nice at the same time.) If he does well up here like we all hope, there is no question that many folks will grow to like him beyond his skills as a pitcher.

I wish I saw that. Just showed a shot with Homer with the bat. Homer time! Figuratively.

I am thinking 6 innings, his command can come and go and obviously he likes finding strike three. I would hope they aren't going to let Jerry take him more than 5 pitches or so beyond 100.

Yeah they better not. I would hope that more than Narron is managing his debut. I am sure Krivsky has got to have his hand in how far they will let him go. At least they better, because Jerry will screw it up. Too bad we have to look at the bullpen for at least 3 innings tonight though.

The kid that gets to stand on the mound and get the autograph is damn lucky.

    Bailey-Harang-Arroyo

If we could just get a pen, and another bat, that's the kind of rotation that wins playoff series (when Bailey is more developed of course, like later next year.)
