Is anyone else here or is everyone out at drinking and eating BBQ? This is torture, but I can stay awhile.

Santos replaces Saarloos and gets a DP ball from the amazing Jack Wilson to record the first two outs of the game.

And Santos gets the third out with another grounder, the bleeding stops before the Pirates can come full circle, they were one away though.

Freel with a weak grounder on the 3B line, but right to Bautista who makes the throw to record the first out about 7 batters before the Reds did it.

Quick bouncer from Phillips, out number two. This inning will be done in two minutes versus the twenty two minutes the Reds needed to get the Pirates done.

Griffey hits it off his bat straight up center, Duffy has to run hard to get to it and of course he does.

    1-2-3.

Bautista rips a hard double that was a few feet shy of going over the LF wall, he ends up on second.

Duffy with a grounder to Conine who flips to the covering Santos.

Sanchez with a sac fly to deep right, that scores the runner. 6-0 Pirates.

LaRoche strikesout swinging and we escape with only one run being given up. I wonder how we will fare against one of the worst NL starters in inning two.

Conine drives a grounder in between the 3B and SS for a basehit into left.

Edwin with a little grounder on the 3B line, the charging Bautista comes in and bobbles it. Runners at first and second.

Dunn battles back to get it to 3-2, drives a pitch into right-center, Conine scores and Ed E goes to third. 6-1 Bad Guys.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Bay singles to start the 3rd.
