    Hopper playing and batting 2nd?

    Conine batting 5th? Gonzalez 6th?

    No Dunn?

Anyone want to take bets that Dunn gets the night off for diving on a ball he had no chance for and Hopper gets the start for his bunt single last night full of scrappy goodness?

I can almost guarantee you that's what Jerry is thinking.

Dunn seemed to get a REALLY bad jump from what I could see on TV and probably just wanted to make up for it by diving when he shouldn't have because he knew Jerry would say he wasn't hustling otherwise.

So in essence, Jerry probably didn't like the dive but wouldn't have wanted him not hustling either. He would have wanted him to make the play because we know certain players like Dunn and Edwin have to be perfect to play.

    It's lose-lose for those players.

We're facing a lefty with decent control tonight.

    I'll bring the beer.

Certainly is a SOLUTION when it comes to this team.

Although I also feel like Sideshow Bob on "Cape Feare" when he keeps running into the rakes over and over.

Very similar feeling to watching a full Reds game.

missionhockey should start every thread--each one has contained a brilliant zinger; I've laughed out loud at each one since I've been here.

    That's mission for ya.

Anyone who is a big fan of The Simpsons quotes (for the record) can head over to the clubhouse forum and look for the "Greatest Simpsons Quotes" thread.

It would be nice to have an extra RH outfielder in the LF spot in lieu of Moeller or Castro.

You know your team is going places when Hopper and Conine are not only starting but hitting in the top 5 of the order.

I wonder if Conine will try the old drag bunt again?

Man O man don't say the other managers in this league don't know their stuff. Seems like almost every freaking game we face a lefty and even when they are not even that tough on other teams they look like Nolan Ryan against the Reds. We had better get some right handers that can hit or we will only get worse.

I should put all my money on the Bucs tonight. Horrible lineup without Dunn, and we are facing a lefty. Sick

That lineup is a joke. The Reds deserve to lose this game, and it has yet to start.
