Although he clearly didn't get it done to say the least tonight, I will say this about Salmon's pitches tonight: most of them weren't bad.

They just showed the replays on Reds Live and the first pitch was a fastball riding in, the second looked to be a fastball riding away and the third one looked like a sinking fastball down.

Of course that shows the problem with not throwing/not being able to throw anything other than fastballs.

It can get your through some situations if you mix in a couple other pitches but you won't get it doen consistently.

they just showed the Weathers melt down again on TV. I did not notice it the first time but as he was walking down to kick the fan, he pointed to Ross and said something to him. I bet my house he said, "you should of still been in the game." Any takers???

    Probably.

I've said all year that Ross is a much better catcher than most.

Its also gives us an example of what a really good pitcher is.

Doesnt have his "A-game" on a certain night (from what I can tell reading the Game thread).
Battles and gives us a really good outing... too bad we couldnt get more than 2 HRs off of the lefty.
If this had been anyone besides Harang or Bronson we would have done been drummed out of the game.

Absolutely. Narron wont be gone after this game folks. But if Moeller isnt gone, I would be shocked.

This is a flat out nightmare of a season. I have never seen a blow up like this. Welsh may be right, I might have to miss the baby assassin.

Narron's postgame comments were on the 10 o'clock news a bit ago and he said the team will get out of this and they need to start "playing the game the right way."

    Hahaha, classic Narron!

So what, are we going on a 13-game win streak?
