    Yep, thanks a lot reds44.

    Votto is simply mashing in AAA. If he keeps them up another month, would anyone not be comfortable in calling him up and giving him 1B (and not in a platoon situation)? I also love looking at Gosling's line, I fear we will see him a few more times before its all said and done, but he's about the definition of an unsexy pitcher (outside of Mr. Jimmy Haynes after the miracle undeserved 15 win season of course.)

    I am all for giving the 1B job to Votto in July. The experience he gets this year will make him more likely to be a trustworthy and dependable player next year instead of a raw, wide-eyed rookie when we need him.
