I know it's not their fault, but what good is Conine and Hatteberg doing for this team? Votto should be up here.

If Dunn hits a HR here, we are back in this thing. That would be crazy though.

Nice play by EE, but Nook is too fast.

Yeah but I really like to see EdE's throws being on line especially while he is on the move. Very nice to see

Narron and Stanton suck. That is my analysis for the night. That is all.

This team needs a MAJOR shake up. Narron may have to be the fall guy, but the batting and pitching coaches should go as well. The hitting has taken a huge dip this year. This looooonnggg year will only get worse unless something gets done fast. Are the Reds the worst team in Baseball ???? Makes you wonder

I am waiting for CRF to come home and give us his usual scouting report. I am interested in what he saw in a lot of these pitchers who flat out stink. That just can't be labeled as unlucky anymore.

Stanton and Coffey stunk it up again tonight and something needs to come of it. Being a Reds fan right now is like going down a slide full of razor blades and landing in a bit of acid. Its flat out painful to endure all this bullcrap being fed to us.

Re: 5/23 Nationals vs Reds: Aces Face Off

    Postgame per C Trent's Blog:

Bob Castellini did talk to the team before the game, but nobody would say what he told them, other than it was positive.

Kyle Lohse said he was sick and he tried to give them 5 innings to help out the bullpen. He did neither.

Someone asked Jerry if there was a plan in place if Lohse couldn't pitch, he said no. Lohse said they talked to him about moving Belisle up a day, but he didn't want to mess with Belisle's rhythm. Jerry was asked if Lohse would be in there the next time his spot in the rotation came around and he gave the questioner a hard glance and said he would. It was certainly a fair question.

    Here's Jerry's quote on Castellini:
“If anybody talks to anybody in here and only the team is present, I think that’s between the team and whoever talks,” Narron said.
He later followed that up, saying, “He said some words, he had some words to say. … It was very encouraging, very positive. Short and to the point.”

Lohse: “It’s kind of a team thing, I don’t like talking about stuff that goes on in meetings. Sorry.”

So what is this meeting all about? Keeping it secret and just saying BCast was being positive about things just tells the fans that nothing will come out of the absolute madness they are in.

Not too sure what to make of this, but if they are planning to keep things the way they are and are just hoping for the best, its time to pray that Hamilton works on his ROY status and that Bailey will be an awesome addition to the rotation.
