Ball game! Offense was in this tonight. How did we ever come back from a 6-0 defecit.

Lets keep it going Reds. I can't give an MVP because I didn't see the game, but if I did have one it would be Valentin.

Every Nats fan should rep- you.

    Which means just McKain.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

We have a very long way to go before I start getting too excited yet. It is one win. But this one is a little more special due to the comeback and its showing this team that they are not out of it and can comeback in any game. Not to give up. Get away from the status quo lazy feeling.

This should have created a much needed spark.

Arroyo looked real shaky tonight. My only guess is that Harang/Arroyo are wearing down... uh oh, anyone agree??

Arroyo was getting screwed out of the gate, both by his defense and by the umpire.

I think he got frustrated and it started to reflect in his pitching.

I think Harang could definitely be hurt as CRF has so nicely scouted many times. He just seems off kilter and nowhere near himself lately.

Arroyo may just be tired from his 129 pitch outing 5 days ago. Hopefully that is all it is.

That was just such a satisfying homerun by Valentin. Given our inability to convert runners in scoring position and a guy who can be prone to a bad AB, it's hard not to say that I wasn't fearful of the worst, but he one heck of a charge into that blast that even added to the suspense more so as it was questionable if it would remain fair or not. Let's hope that's the beginning of the end to the bleeding of this team.

Glad to be apart of this forum....I'll be here alot. Screw the reds zone. I've been a member there for 3 years, and now I can't post on the game thread.

Sounds good man. Glad to have you here. This place isn't too bad. We are young, but are growing and have a pretty good Reds fan base. We welcome you to our home and invite you to make it your own.

    Very glad you joined!

Now what of this game tonight bro? You think we may have seen a much needed spark to get this team going? Or are we still doomed?

Our goal should be to get to .500 by the All Star break. Then bring up Homer.

Yep, that sounds pretty fantastic to me. I truly hope Harang is ok though. That may become the biggest crutch to our chance at getting back to .500.

If he is not going to be healthy this season, we are going to be hurting badly.

Then I will just be watching Reds games on account of seeing guys like Homer and Hamilton play.

    Welcome George Foster.

We always welcome celebrities, unless they have gone too Hollywood that is.

    We already have our HollywoodLeo.

Jon Coutlangus needs to be used in key situations more often. Really. I know it's stunning to Narron that a non-vet needs to get his feet wet and might even...GET THE JOB DONE...but he does.

Good to see Valentin contribute something positive for once. As long as I don't have to see him behind the plate anymore calling a game, I might not cringe so much.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
