jiminez is hitting .310/.375/.345 against lefties. It's not great but it beats kearns' .172/.342/.276.

Totally agreed, so many hitters on this team do this it is sick. They do it on 2-0 counts also. You are likely to get a fastball for a strike in that count, so hit the heck out of it.

it's like we'd rather have a walk than a hit. walks are good and all, you don't want to swing at bad pitches, but it looks like our guys are up there, and they get a 3-0 count and they think "sweet, now i don't have to swing for two pitches and maybe i'll get a walk" when they should be thinking, here comes something i can drive.

lead off triple and we can't score. This team is a joke. a damned bad joke. i've even come to expect it. The other night, when reyes got the lead off tripple, i couldn't believe how easily they scored him. I was shocked. And then i remembered, oh yeah, that's really easy to do isn't it? we suck completely. and jiminez was a perfect example there of someone looking for a walk and not getting the rbi.

Small sample size on Kearns not hitting as well vs. LHP. I just don't have faith in Jimenez at all.

Milton's 15th HR. How long will he stay in the rotation? I don't care how much money he's making. He needs to go on the DL or something.

Casey hits a bomb. Thats one back. At least he is on today. Hopefully he is back to norm for a while, but he is still really pulling the ball.

DJ leads off with a double, should be followed by 3 outs. he probably will not even get to 3rd, but definitely not home.
