Gonzalez flies out to LF. 1 out.

This team swings at everything lately.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Thats what I like to see. Nice job Freel. Speed around the basepaths is amazing!

    Hatteberg grounds out to 3B.

    4-0 Phillies after 3.

    Wretched.

Dammit! I would like to see that in replay.

Looks like we are going to have umpires ruining this game as well for us.

Side note; the Reds are 4-1 in Valentin's starts. I definitely see your point on Belisle's struggles throwing to Valentin. And surely Valentin's offense will not makeup for pitching mistakes when Valentin is calling a bad game. But they are 4-1. Maybe that has more to do with his starting against RHP and the team as a whole hitting much better vs RHP?

1st pitches to look for in the next 3 ABs.

    BP, curveball in
    Hamilton, changeup away
    Dunn, slider in

    BP got his curveball in.

Then goes the other way on a 2-2 count for a basehit to RF.

You have got to be kidding me Dunn.

What has happened to him lately? It has to be his back. Dunn Ks

I don't think the record in Valentin's starts means much. I just look at pitcher performance with him in there.
