First time through Phils saw these pitches on the first pitch:

    Rollins: fastball down the middle
Victorino: fastball down and he got a basehit
    Utley: fastball up

RBI double down the LF line for Utley. 3-0 Phils no outs runners on 2nd and 3rd for Howard.

Left handed bats are hurting Belisle today.

Intentional walk to Howard now. Bases loaded with no outs for a guy who is 5 for 5 in his career against Belisle.

I really don't like Valentin behind the plate. Have I mentioned that before?

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

I will have a report on last night's game a little later, for the record.

Belisle never seems to be on the same page as Valentin. No rhythm.

Dobbs lines out to LF. A run scores. 2 outs. 4-0 Phillies though. 1st and 2nd.

Infield hit. Bases loaded, 2 outs.

The Phillies could make this unwatchable quickly.

Dunn makes an awesome diving stab to save a few runs there!

Great battle with Dobbs and he lines out to a diving Dunn. Nice job Dunner!

Yet it does become a sac fly. 4-0 Phils. 2 outs for Rowand

And he gets an infield hit to EdE who makes a nice diving stab to stop the ball.

Yep, I love Valentin's bat vs Ross right now. But having him behind the plate means guaranteed base stealers for the opposing team

Belisle Ks Ruiz on a slider that breaks over the plate.

Not bad after leaving the bases loaded. Great diving stabs by Dunn and EdE.

Now if only I had confidence in our offense.

Well, that too, but I am actually talking about his pitch-calling. I think it's awful.

For the record, Ross caught Belisle's first two starts and Valentin the last one and this one.

And Valentin is hitting better than Ross right now, but came in with a .718 OPS. Not TOO bad for a catcher, but not lighting it up offensively.
