Burke singles through the hole in LF.

Hit in the perfect spot there.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Seems rather odd Dunn is out considering 7-8-9 in the 9th for the Reds. I guess he (Jerry) figures Wheeler is gonna mow them down and they won't get to the two-spot?

    Castro PH for Ross.

I guess Ross starting to hit a little gets him pulled out of the game.

He K's on three pitches and looks awful. 2 outs.

I'm sure Wheeler was fearing Castro and Hopper in the 9th inning of a two-run game.

    Hopper lines out to CF.

    Astros win 8-6.

    Crowd boooooos as it ends.

If that wasn't one of the worst managed games ever, I'd be surprised.

    Even for Jerry.

I don't even know what else to say about it.

I think we have lost 5 of 6 games started by Harang and Arroyo so far this year.

    Not going to cut it.

    Re: Astros at Reds 4/19/2007

Conine, Griffey (too sick to even PH?) and Valentin remained on the bench. Dunn gets pulled. Arroyo gets pulled with under 100 pitches despite the recently struggling bullpen. Weathers comes in for five out and stays in for quite a while. Castro PH for Ross, who finally got on a couple times tonight.

    Jerry is a bonafide genius.

Well I wasn't indicting them for their pitching.

I was talking about the team's record in games started by them.

We can't be losing 4 or 5 of 6 of their starts on a routine basis.
