    Hip-Hop-per is retired.

    Three more outs to go.

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

    Not much and you?

Just nice hearing some baseball on the radio.

Liked what I heard of Marty and Thom together and have been pleased with Thom and Brantley as well. Brantley is much better now that he is no longer talking under the influence of the idiots at ESP(i)N.

Yep I love this broadcast crew. I admit, I hated Brantley before, but he is a Reds guy now and seemingly has some good things to say. I wonder where Marty was today.

Hamilton has been impressive so far.

    I hope it keeps up.

I don't want to get TOO excited yet.

First walk given up by a Reds pitcher today and Shack delivers it. 1 on 1 out.

Janish catches the line drive and this one is over.

Very nice offensive explosion today! Simply put, it wowed me. If that is even a word. I am gaining excitement every day for theseason. Not a bad day pitching today either even though the starting lineup only contained 1 starter for the Twins today.

Things I saw: Deno seems to be struggling at the plate as heis yet to get a hit with many opportunities. Bellhorn and Crosby are dissapointingly making a point for themselves. Phillips, Hatteberg, and Hamilton are absolutely amazing right now.

Keep it up Reds! 3-0 this spring.

    MVP: Hamilton

Hamilton is simply a man on a mission at this point. Simply fantastic, I can't wait to see him in action if he lasts til the Fox Ohio crew covers a ST game.

I agree mission. FSN coverage of ST really burns my skin. They always pick up the end of spring when the roster is all but set. I would much rather see the earlier games so we can see guys like Bailey, Votto etc.

As for the game today, I am starting to think that the offense this season may be better than I first thought. I know it is early, but it seems like they are making more of an attempt to put the ball in play. Do you think Jacoby has turned that philosophy around that quick or is this just a mirage?

Once again, I know its early, but I think Hamilton is all but a lock for the roster. Beside the fact they probably don't want to send him back, I think his big arm and the fact that he can cover some ground is enough to keep him here. If you are willing to keep someone like a Wily Mo on the bench, than why not Hamilton b/c he can at least be a late inning replacement. (I know Pena was under different management, but the point is the same.) Then as the season goes on, get him more AB. I think its safe to say that he would get some time in the OF b/c of injury.
