    pitching stats update

just because i can't help but torture myself.

There are three reds pitchers who have OPS against less than .700:
    Mercker .682, Wagner .683, Harang .691

One more below .800: Elizardo .775

    One below .850: Weathers .823

    Two below .900: Claussen .865, Graves .889

Belisle and Milton manage to keep it under .950 (.921, .927), congrats to them for that

Our ace is under 1.000 at least (sob): Wilson .980

And then there are those special guys who give up MVP numbers to everyone they face:
Stone 1.011, Ortiz 1.019, Valentine 1.077, Coffey 1.162, and poor allan simpson who only got two outs 1.750.
    Reds MVP Race

    6: Arroyo, Harang
    5: Kearns
    4: Phillips
    3: Dunn, Felo, Freel, Milton
    2: Claussen, EdE, Griffey, Valentin
1: Aurilia, Hatteberg, Lizard, Larue, Shackelford

A starting pitcher with a .980 OPS against. Lord help us!
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)

Homer: We're proud of you, boy.

Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.

Man this really sucks bad. I don't even have to look, but this has to be a leagues worst. We lead a lot of categories in that sense.
